Condenser motor fan stops turning and motor stops running. I have to take the back cover off and spin the fan blade to get it started. Do I need a new condenser motor? If so what is the condenser part # for a whirlpool model # ed27pqxew00?

Latest Questions

I have a whirlpool Refrigerator. A death rattle noise comes from the back. I opened the lower panel. Noise comes from the Compressor area or Condensation fan. With unit off, I wiggled the fan motor...sounded like possible bearings were shot. When I turned the unit on , while this fan was unplugged...then the noise came from the compressor. I still can't determine which unit to replace...but it sure sounds like the unit is going to start taking off and flying around the room (sounds is like a furnace motor running). Any other thought to help diagnose the problem? Thanks

Have a Whirlpool side by side Model #ED25QFXHW01 and when running there is like a vibration noise in the freezer. I have applied a little pressure on the back panel in the freezer and it will stop. Soon as I remove the pressure the noise comes back. Watched you good video on a motor replacement but not sure if that is the problem/vibration. Since our food is in there i will be pressed to do an expedient job. You may have experience with this problem before that is why i am asking the experts. Unit made in 2000 and not sure life it has left? Noise, however is aggravating. in the kitchen. Something is loose or touching/vibrating. Not sure of anything i will need. Thank You.
