HI! My fridge is only freezing at the bottom of the freezer section, but it's warm at the top and barely cool in the non freezer section of the fridge. I don't want to get rid of it as yet , can you you help? Please.

Answer Hello Cliffie. You will need to check and see if the evaporator fan motor is running inside the freezer. If it is not, and you have power coming to it, you will need to replace the evaporator fan motor 482469. Hope this helps.

your part number AP3120994. A condenser fan motor. The description says clockwise rotation. The question I have is, is that clockwise while looking at the shaft end or the lead end. The kitchenaid fridge I have now has a unit that is listed as cw le (clockwise from the lead end). When the fan is blowing on the original motor the air blows back towards the motor. I have a 17 year old Kitchenaid model #KSRS25FBWH00. From the pictures of the fan blade it appears to be the same as mine. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer in solving this repair problem.

Ever since our power was off for 3 days 2 wks ago, things have been freezing in the bottom tray. We ran a generator part time to keep things cold. The thermostat was replaced 2yrs ago.

Answer Gail, You will want to make sure that the slide on the wall next to the crisper drawer is set for vegetable. This is a area where air can migrate back into the refrigerator and cause freezing in the lower drawer.
