History: Recently I noticed that all the screws were loose on on the inside of the dishwasher door, but the dishwasher still worked. Currently the start button will not respond when I try to start the dishwasher cycle (the lights go on, but the cycle won't start). I noticed a post that suggested "press heated dry, normal, heated dry, normal, heated dry, normal. The unit should start running, do not stop it, let it complete." I did this, (although I'm not sure what that does... resets something?) I let it complete it's cycle, however the unit still does not respond to start a normal wash cycle. Any suggestions?

Hello! I have a Whirlpool quietpartner II with a dead control board. After removing the control faceplate and popping off the plastic cover from the top of the board...I noticed a black wire not connected to anything, and it appeared to be charred. Also, one of the plugs that go into the board had a wire that was fried. The board looked discolored where that wire touched the board. So my question...Can I replace the control board and wiring assembly that connects to the board? I'm sure there would be some wire splicing, but it seems doable to me.

I have a Whirl Pool Quiet Partner II that has a blinking pots and pans LED. From what I've found this is an indication of a bad control panel. It did this 3-4 months ago and I was able to remove the control panel and "wiggle" it's internal connections and get it working again. This time the same process got one full wash. Did it one more time and nothing, sigh... The pots and pans LED and the normal LED did alternate blinking for a bit but the majority of the time it's just been the pots and pans LED. Did I mention none of the buttons respond? Before I order I want to clarify that the control panel is in deed what I need?

Normal and pots and pan lights flashing back and forth. No other buttons will work soak light is on. Door open the same as when door is closed.

All buttons on panel work except cancel/drain. Is this a control panel or an electric board option?
