The numerical indicator LED's for the temperature settings are rapidly flashing on the display. This is the only symptom the fridge has, everything works fine. Is this fixed by replacing the control board in the base of the refrigerator or do I need to replace the upper control box that contains the LED's? Thanks!

Answer Hi Steve. First thing is to open the doors and toggle the door switches to see if one is faulty and thinks it is in the closed position. If so then it is part # 1118894. There are cavity sensors which tell the main board current cavity temperatures. If they go out of value, it allows the board to reset in a default mode. The fresh food thermistor is part # 2188819. It is to the right in the controls area. There is a thermistor air seal part # 2261265. The electronic part of the control board is the whole assy. part # 2255233. Thank You.
