What could cause the food in the refrigerator to freeze? It doesn't seem to matter how low I set the temperature, the food still freezes. The freezer is is working fine. I was thinking of replacing the temperature control but, I wanted to make sure the was the right thing to do. Thanks, Kris

Answer Hello Kris. You need to check and see if the damper door is broken and staying open in the unit. If so, this will cause the issue you are having and you will need to replace the damper housing assembly 61005989.

I would like to know is there away to know if this sensor is bad. My freezer is cold but my refrigerator is warm.

Answer Hello Mike. If the unit is running, then the control 61005516 is working. You will need to check and see if there may be a defrost issue, bad fan motor in the freezer, or a bad damper assembly in the unit.
