Front load washer will not drain. Have checked hoses and they are clear. I'm being told I need a new pump and memory control board. Please tell me its something else.

The machine will shut off when it switches from the agitation mode to spin cycle when the wash spin speed is set to regular/fast setting. After several minutes pass by the machine starts up and attempts to spin. I can hear the motor groan trying to pick up speed for the spin and then I can hear an internal breaker trip that shuts off the machine. The machine works when I select on the wash spin speed dial "normal/slow." Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated to fix this problem.

My washer will sometimes be full of water when I come back to check on it after adequate time for a full cycle. It has done this a couple of times, but running another cycle always got it back working normally. Now, the "normal" side of the dial does not drain. However, "delicate" cycles work normally. Could this mean that I need a new control board?

Often having the problem where the washer won't drain after the final rinse. All other operations seem to be normal. The problem isn't consistant. It washes, rinses and spins. Just misses draining from time to time. I have been advised that it is likely the timer. Do you concur?
