We have a whirlpool duet frontload washer purchased in 2011. The washer has been working great and then all of a sudden had some random errors. We located a broken wire and repaired it but now we continue to receive a f7e1 error. The confusing part is that the washer will go through the entire cycle empty but if you add even a small load of clothes it will error. Any help would be appreciated.

We had a rare electrical storm in San Diego, and our power went out (never happens). The duet front loader we have had since 2004 had been periodically stalling to restart when using "add a garment" recently. After the power was restored, the panel and controls went dead. No lights, no controls, nothing. I checked the curcuit breaker and it did not pop, but I tried flipping it on and off anyway just in case. The grounded outlet is fine. The dryer works on both plugs and I tested a seperate 110 V electrical appliance also and it works fine. Is this the User interface or the Control Board, or something else?

Washer works fine except towards the end of the cycle it stays stuck in final rinse mode showing it has 1 minute left in the cycle and it takes about 20 minutes to finally time out. What could be wrong?

When I run the diagnostics, it will flash F then H then goes back to time 002. The CCU seems to be making a hissing noise. When I unplug the CCU it will quit. I do not hear any click like it says I am suppose to hear. I want to make sure it is the CCU before getting one they are costly.

I have a Whirlpool front loader GHW9100W2. I was getting an FH code at random times. I went into the diagnostic mode and ran all the tests. The hot fill would error out. I replaced the inlet valve and retested. The error came back so I purchased a CCU from Appliance Parts Pro and installed it. As soon as I plug the machine in I hear a squeal come from the control box and the control lock light is on. I tried pressing the cancel button 2 times to reset the controller but it will not reset. The boxex look identical but the original box has the number el:06222 and the new box has the number el:06223. Not sure if this is the correct box or I have another issue?
