Over the past year several times the clean light flashes 7 times and the washer will not run. If I press normal wash then heated dry three times in succession the computer goes into the diag mode and fixes it's self. Today it started ok on normal wash and said it had 74 mins to complete the wash process. Now 2 hours later it is still running and shows 44 Min left. Do I need a control panel and a computer?

I have model# gu2500xtps3 (quiet partner III) and it has the "blinking 7 times" clean LED. I ran it through the diag cycle several times and it shows no problems. Water is HOT. I run the diag, then open and close the door, then the light stops. SO...I fill the dw up with dirty dishes and run it again. Gets to 52 minutes every time then goes immediately to 2 minutes. Then clean LED blinks 7 times again. since the diag mode shows no problem, what else could it be? Bad heater element? Something clogged somewhere? I dont want to spend $125 for a new board if that isnt going to fix it.

I noticed some large carpenter ants going into my dishwasher panel after my dishwasher quit working. After taking the panel off and cleaning all the ants out from inside the panel(there was also a nest on the control panel) the dishwasher worked fine for about a few months. During a cycle (a few minutes) my dishwasher decided to quit working. I took it apart again but could not get it to work. I tried reseting the diagnostics as I have read on your site and others using different button combinations. I have also held in the cancel button and hear a faint motor running. I have also unplugged and plugged the dishwaher in varying time allotments. The only lights I have on is the accusense. It is either constantly on or continously blinking. From what I have read it appears it could be the fuse (I checked the continuity and it is good) or the control panel. I guess it is the control panel. Is this your assessment and should I also purchase the fuse as a preventitive measure. Thank you.

Dishwasher will not make a complete cycle. Sounds normal for first few minutes. Shuts off and cannot be restarted for about 10 min. Always water left in bottom of unit. Tried turning off the power to reset. If unit is left untouched, it will restart on its on and repeat previous cycle. My question is, does it need a new control panel or a control board.? How do I test?
