Water pump not working but ice maker works. Replaced filter, cleaned behind refrigerator, held water pump button for 1+ minutes but still no water. Display light for water/filter does not work but all other display lights work. Turned temperature up to 45 degrees for 1/2 hour and water worked short time but stopped after not using it for a few hours. Also, occassionally food on top shelf of fridge and vegetable bin or lower tray freezes but not all the time.

My freezer is fine but my refridgerator temp has dropped to 53/53 but first my damper unit got frost on it and then dethawed and it doesn't seem to be working anymore. Normally I could hear it run. Now I can't, Damper#67003903. I need to get this part in hand today. Please tell me where to get it. Do you agree this is the problem?

Latest Questions

The temperature control for both the refrigerator and freezer is stuck at the highest setting or number 7. Most of the time you can press the up and down buttons and the display is unresponsive and will not change from 7. Every once in a while the display is responsive and you can set the refrigerator and freezer for something other than 7; however, both displays always go back to 7 after some time. I believe from the actual temperature of the freezer and refrigerator that they are working. The setting of 7 in the refrigerator seems reasonable because it is a little too cold for my liking. My guess is that the control board is bad. Thoughts?

Recently had damper replaced due to frig compartment not cooling. Worked fine for about 3 weeks, now frig compartment warming up again. Checked damper...open, feel cold air coming through but not high velocity. Could this be a fan issue? If so, how easy for self repair? Unit only 7.5 years old. Thanks

My refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling. Before this happened it was making an intermittent short buzz sound (down by where the compressor is) every few minutes. We came home and everything was defrosted. The refrigerator temp was room temperature and the temperature control pad is lit but not responsive. I unplugged the refrigerator and called a repair man. He came over and told me my temperature control module was bad, he also said that the amp draw on the compressor was too low (it was reading 1.4), he also said that it was low on refrigerant but that it was a sealed system and that he had a guy that could splice a valve into it and recharge it with coolant. He said to fix the refrigerator would cost more than it's worth, but that he had a guy that could fix it but it would be $400+ with no guarantee. The refrigerator worked fine up until the day it stopped working and now since he plugged it in and left ... it seems to be cooling off but the temp controls are unresponsive. What do you think?
