Hi, On my side by side Amana the condenser keeps icing up on top opposite the heater. I have replaced the themostat, heat and, defrost control board. The fridge works fine 40 degrees at level 4. The freezer runs at a steady 20 degrees ay any level

Answer Hello Michael. It souds like the ice build up is on the evaporator, not the condenser. If that is so, then based on the information you provided, it sounds like there is a sealed system issue with the unit. If the ice is not covering all the coils, then you need an HVAC tech to come and do a sealed system repair on the unit.
The fridge and freezer stopped cooling/freezing. The thermostat has been replaced before. There is still power. would it be possible that it is the thermostat again or something else.

Answer Paul, With a cooling issue in both compartments, you need to consider a faulty defrost ADC control board 12566102 or an issue with the start device 12555902. I would not suspect the thermostat/cold control to be the issue at this point. Good Luck and Thanks
