I bought my house brand new in Nov 2006 with this oven. In oct 2010 the key pad stopped working and only the broil button worked. I replaced the control panel and all was good until Feb 2013. Now only the bake button works and the temp automatically goes to 350'F. The key pad doesn't work again. Is this a commen problem with this unit? Putting $400 dollars in 6 years for 2 contol units seems like a problem. Please advise. Thank you for your time R/S Dan

Answer Hello Dan. I would not say it is common for these things to go out, but does happen. Sometimes this is due to using cleaners on them, not made for control panels. Also, you can try removing the ribbon cable from the control board and cleaning it with rubbing alcohol and a pencil eraser and see if it starts to work again.

We are having a problem with the above oven the bake 6 and 9 buttons do not work. We have replaced it with two control panels and both have the same problem. The ribbon cable has been inspected with no visable breaks. With a multimeter we were able to get the bake button to check out. From that we initially eliminated the touch screen. We located a previous post by raderrustler on 01/04/09 with a simular problem the links do not work.

Answer Hello Valerie. If the control panel 5765M433-60 has been replaced twice and the problem continues to happen, you will need to replace the control 74008960. Hope this helps.

The touch screen does not respond, is this the item I need? It appears to be in sabbath mode but will not come out. Can you help. thanks Larry

Answer Hello Larry. Hold CLOCK pad for 3 seconds to activate Sabbath mode. Hold CLOCK pad for 3 seconds to disable Sabbath mode. If the unit does not clear out of the sabbath mode, you will need to replace the control 74008960. Hope this helps.
