Lock out light blinking. Unit will not start. I've tried to reset it by turning the power on and off but it did not work.
Answer Hello Jeff,
Hold the lock button in for 5 seconds. If this doesn't unlock it, either the button on the touch pad is stuck or the control board has failed.
My dishwasher button lights would come on and off and it wouldn’t start at all so I purchased a new contol and new door switches. It worked ok, but the light worked only some times. Last week it stopped. I tryed to reset it but still no lights and it wouldn’t start. I think it’s the contol panel. If I purchuse one and try it and that isn't the problem can I return it for a full refund? Tom
Answer Hello Thomas,
The control panel 3384340 is a good start, but it sounds like you may have an underlying problem. I would first check the leveling of the unit. You see, if the unit isn't level, it changes the door strike. If it's off a lot, it will change the door strike drastically. The door strike directly affects the door switches and can initiate your problem. This can be an intermittent problem if it's not out of level by much. The side of the dishwasher door contacting the cabinet will also cause a similar issue. I would definitely check these possibilities out before purchasing any more parts.
If you do purchase parts, we stand behind them for one full year whether you have installed them or not. Of course we surrender the shipping charges to the shipper, so we don't have that money to refund, but the full purchase price is refundable for a year as long as the parts were purchased from us.
NOTE: Black is the only color available. The manufacturer has discontinued all other colors.
