My Repair & Advice
TROUBLESHOOTING: First of all, the dishwasher sometimes worked full cycle, so I knew the control board was OK. In addition to the blank units digit on the display, I observed dimpled pushbuttons on the front panel, which led me to suspect sticky pushbuttons that appeared to be continuously depressed. While observing the flashing Quick Rinse light, I used a heat gun (or hair dryer) to gently heat and expand the plastic surface of the front panel pushbutton area. As soon as this film expanded it pulled the dimples out, and the Quick Rinse light immediately extinguished. The machine ran fine for several cycles but then failed again. I knew the front panel was bad. After replacing it, the dishwasher is working fine after 10 cycles (so far).
