Where can I find my model number?

I can not change cycles on the panel. It will only stay in quick wash. I cannot find my manual. Is there a reset button? I do not see a cancel button either.

Answer Hello T.C., Sounds like you need to replace the control panel. The part number would be 8531013 unless you have a decorator panel on the door. If this is the case, you will need part number 8531014.

Awhile ago my cycle selection LED's and ability to select a cycle stopped working though the unit would still run all the cycles. Finally got tired of this and found the flexi wiring harness had deteriorated due to liquid getting past the escutcheon on the top to the flexi with the connector. So I ordered a new one and replaced it and ran it and all was good. The next day I cannot get it to run. I can select the regular cycle and get two dashes on the display but start won't do anything. If I press stop it displays a 2 and does the two minute pump out. I've tried removing power for awhile...no difference. I've tried to get it into diagnosis mode by pressing high temp scrub (led lights), energy saving dry (led lights), high temp scrub (led goes out), energy saving dry (led stays on) nothing happens to the display even after closing door pressing start. Diagnosis doesn't happen either for the other sanirinse/energ saving air dry sequence but the led's stay lite. Any other way to do a hard reset to the controller.

Answer Hi Bryan. The high temp scrub, air dry, hi temp scrub, air dry are the keys to press to operate the diagnostic mode. There is a diagnostic sheet in the kick plate or in between the inner door panel and the control board . Make sure the unit is not over soaping. If so, then fill it up w/ cold water continuously and drain over and over to get rid of the suds. Use a pitcher of water to fill it to the bottom of the element. It is best to use a shop vac and to remove the racks. Then inspect and clean all parts. If the thermistor in the bottom of the tub gets clogged it will not work correctly. Use dishwasher magic monthly to keep unit operating well. Let me know how to help further .You may need the control board part # 8564543. Thank You.
