Answer Jon, There is not a test procedure to check to see if a keypad has shorted. You will want to disconnect the keypad and make sure that the ribbon harness is clean and that the contacts are clean. Reseat the ribbon harness and make sure that there is a firm connection. If still having issue then the keypad is faulty and would need to be replaced.

Answer Hello Marty, That is why you are getting the "F2-E0" code. It indicates the ribbon cable is not connected properly. Take a good look at the connector and see if you need to raise a tab before inserting the ribbon. Some you just insert the cable and some have a tab you raise, then insert the ribbon and close the tab. I'm not exactly sure which one yours is but I hope this helps. Thanks!

Answer Hello Steve. The manufacture does not offer the key pad test on the tech sheet. If the stop button is not working, you will need to replace the control panel assembly 8300430 to repair the issue.

Answer Hello Steve, Turn off the power to the unit and open the control panel. Remove the ribbon cable and, using the eraser on a pencil and going in the same direction as the traces run, use the eraser to clean the connections. Reinstall the ribbon cable and the control panel. Turn the power back on and turn the unit on. Now try the off button. If it works, you just cured the issue. If not, you will need to replace the relay board 8302967 as there is probably a relay stuck and the button probably works but cannot release the stuck relay.
