Blank display, oven won't start.
Answer Hello Natalie. If there is power to the control board, but nothing works, you will need to order and replace the board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
Whrere do I get instructions on replacing the control panel assy?
Answer Hi Gretchen. Open the bottom door. There are side (black) flat heat, phillips screws that hold the trim pieces on. Removing the side/bottom trim pieces will give access to the control panel bottom, left and right screws. There are also hidden sunk in screws at the top of the panel. remove theese, and it will allow the panel to release. Carefully release the ribbon cable and insure it is reinstalled tight and not pinched. This panel is part # 8300436. Thank you.
Thanks for the help earlier on the F2 E6 error. We don't have a cancel button on our keypad - only upper/lower oven off. Any thoughts?
Answer Hello Tracy. Cancel is the off button on alot of keypads. According to the code, you will need to replace the keypad. Hope this helps.
