I tweek the circuit breaker again but it did not work anymore. I spoke to the chat customer service and they suggested to replace , the control panel assy w/ membrane, switch. the part AP3043893 but do not know where to locate the control panel assy in the wall oven, How to replace the bad part and install the new one. where is it located . Help
To make sure that the issue is the control board and not the transformer which supplies the display its power you would want to test on the control board from connector p16 pin 5 to pin 7. Check for 120 vac across those pins. Then check from Connector p16 pins 2 to 3 for 12 vdc. If there is 120 vac at the pin 5 to 7 then and not 12 vdc then the transformer would be the issue. The problem could be the control board if there is not 120 vac to at the 5 to 7 connector. The control is located behind the control panel in which you would open the oven door and remove the screw at the bottom of the trim on both sides. Pull the trim off and there will be a screw at the top on the side to remove for the control panel. Remove the screw one on either side. Then you would roll the bottom of the control panel outward and lift up off the hooks.
What would cause my double oven to emit a periodic beep when it is off? The clock displays the correct time and the oven functions fine.
Answer Hello Lou. You need to check and see if there is any stuck buttons on the control panel. If not, then the control board may be bad and need to be replaced on the unit.
