How do you remove the control panel to replace?
Answer Hello Cynthia,
Turn off the breaker to the unit and verify no voltage is to the unit. Open the bottom door and remove the screws, (one on each side), that retains the trim that runs up the sides of the unit. Pull out on the bottom of the trim and slide it down to remove them. Now, at the top, under where the trim that you just removed was, remove the two screws. The control panel will now lift straight up and will only be attached by the wiring. I always remove the board from the panel instead of pulling the wires off. This simplifies the re-assembly process since you do not have to pull the wiring diagram and decipher the wiring configuration.
If purchasing the control panel, it does come with the mother board and display board? The picture does not show or give a decent description of what actually comes with it besides all the exterior parts.
Answer Ray, The 8300533 Control Panel Assy. w/Membrane Switch, does not include the "motherboard" 8302967. There is no separate display board. If you do need the control board, it is no longer available from the manufacturer and you may need to contact : Corecentric Solutions at 866-737-2244/ or Corecentricsolutions.Com on the internet.
