Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
Had range about 6 years. Has always had problems keeping temp up. Used to PF many times on long bakes, like Turkey Day. Did calibration, and now rare PF's, but set it to 350 and food is not cooking. Check our gauge hanging inside, and it's about 250 deg. No clicking or indication of error. Turn off and on again and it turns on again for awhile. Wife has had it. Should we buy new, a control panel, spark mod. Anything else it could be?
Thank You!!

Answer Hello Randy. You will need to test the sensor. W10181986 If it checks good, then it may be the control board. Here is the test procedure. Hope this helps. 1. Measure sensor value (between connector pins) between 1000 W@ 32° F and 2697 W@ 900° F (room temperature approx. = 1080 W). If measurement does not correlate to real temperature, disconnect power, replace sensor.
