My whirlpool electric range's control board died during self-cleaning mode; no lights on the control board and door is locked. Stove top still heats/turns on. Is this a thermal fuse problem or does the entire control board need to be replaced? RF370LXPT2

I started to change the oven control board but the back of the new board is different than the old board. Your company says this is the correct part. That it has been updated. All the plugs are clearly marked expect the plug where the two big red wires go. The old board has a big black unmarked square box where two big red wires are plugged. The new box has a small rectangle orange box that is completely different than the old black box. I am confessed where the two red wires should go on the new board. Does the left one go on L2 and The right one on DLB? Please help. Eugene

Hello, my Bake button and my temp/clock "up" button don't work. The oven will not come on, nor can I set the clock with the "up", only down. Self-clean works. I have taken apart control panel and cleaned the tactile switches with contact cleaner, had intermittent working condition, but now back to point one. Does this sound like a switch condition, or should I look elsewhere? I really don't have budget to replace entire panel. thanks, Mike

I'm at the end of my rope. I've got an oven that does not heat to 350 during the normal pre-heat time (6 minutes). There are no error codes. I've attempted to replace the oven sensor and this control board with no change. I've changed both broil and bake elements (old sensor and control board)...no change. Is there anything else a DIYer can do to fix this? I've seen checking the voltage at the elements to see if they're at 220-240VAC, but am drawing a blank as to what to check across (ground to one side of element terminal?) Let's just assume facts not in evidence and say it's not at 240VAC as it should be, is that some sort of relay or fuse that can be replaced? Please help. Thanks.
