I have removed the screws and cover however, it appears that the switch AP3081045 does not snap in from the rear but rather the front and I do not see how to remove the escutcheon. How do I remove the escutcheon?

Answer Hello Pool guy. If you squeeze the tabs and push the switch 9871766 from the back, out the front, you can remove it. You do not need to remove the escutcheon. Hope this helps.

How do you remove a selector switch assembly for replacement?

Answer Hello Pool Guy. Remove the screws securing the control panel and unsnap the control switch assembly 9871766 from the control panel. Reinstall with the new control switch assembly in reverse order. Hope this helps.
