We have a Whirlpool washing machine (LSQ8000LQ1 ) that we have replaced the timer switch on already, but, NOW, the machine fills to the LOWEST water level and DuMpS the rest, there's no water on the floor but it WON'T fill the rezt of the way , WHY ?
This issue sounds like it may be siphoning the water back out. You will want to check the drain to make sure that it is not pushed too far down into the standpipe. If it is then this would cause the issue that you are having. If this checks ok then the issue would most likely be caused by the pressure switch but if the water continues to run and try to fill then check for siphoning issue.
Hi, my timer is defective and has the number 3953553 on it, but it's followed by the Letter B. Your timer doesn't have this suffix behind the part number, will it still work? What does the B mean? Thanks.
Answer Steve, based on your model number given the timer listed as part number 3953553 is the correct replacement and will work on your appliance. Unfortunately, we do not have any information to verify what "B" stands for. Sorry.
