Hi, My fridge is at freezing temperatures throughout. The damper W10207517 appeared to be opening and closing properly, but the repair person advised replacing and after install it made no difference. Are there any other parts that control the temperature that I should replace? Thanks, Rob

I know for sure the control damper is going South again due to the erratic noises it makes and items freezing in the back of the fridge. I have the part but cannot figure how to get the plastic cover off and don't want to break it. Any hints?

I have a noise that happens on a regular basis. I believe it might be the damper? Top rear of refrigerator box. The noise is a soft knocking sound. Maybe better described as a very light fast thumping of a finger on a table. I may be incorrect in regards to the location of the noise but it did stop when I touched the housing. My ice machine has been idle. The noise is not in the freezer section. I had freezer set to 0 and refrigerator to 38 which I now have set at 39.
