You state that the black cooktop is no longer available for this model, however a chrome style is available. What color is the cook surface itself, since I assume that the chrome is the outer trim color. Please advise, as I have an excellent stove and the top glass surface has cracked. I do not want to replace the stove if possible to substitute the chrome top. Thank you

Answer Hello Michael! It seems that the chrome top 5706X353-30 has discontinued. At this time the only cooktop showing available is the white top, part number 5706X358-81. You may click on the part number to view the parts information and to view a picture of the item. At this time the part is out of stock.
