How do you take out a broken cooktop on a model RCC3024GQ2 and how and how hard is it to put in the new one? I will be using the same trim piece since it has been discontinued.
Answer Hello Jan,
You first need to turn the power off to the unit to protect yourself from electrical shock. You will then need to pull the unit from the countertop and set it over the opening diagonally. Remove the screws around the perimeter and the trim can be lifted off. The glass will then lift off. Re-assembly is the same as this but in the reverse order.
