I like to get an instruction how to replace the broken glass top.
what accessory and tool I need besides the glass
Answer Mike, No special tools or accessories will be needed just the cooktop glass W10205307 and trim W10168882. And here's some help : Main Top Removal Shut off gas supply and disconnect electricity to unit. Remove grates, caps, and knobs. (You may want to label or mark the location of the burner caps and bases) NOTE: To remove knob(s), slide a rag under the knob and pull upward. Remove cooktop from installation position and place on protected surface. Remove screws securing burner base to cooktop NOTE: Screws under burner base act as orifice holder guides. Remove screws securing main top to burner box bottom. Remove main top by lifting off burner box. Reverse procedure to reinstall.
Hi. I am looking for an all stainless steel stove top to replace the broken glass top that I now have. Please supply me with any information on this product. Thank You.
Answer Hello Dennis! The cooktop used on your model JGC9536BDS is part number W10205307. The glass is black in color. No stainless glass listed. You can use the existing trim pieces if they are not broken on your unit now. Thanks!
