Answer Hello Tommy. The counter weight W10008880 goes on the top left side of the outer tub assembly.

Answer Hello Rich. Make sure nothing is between the inner and outer tubs. If not, the the bearing is the problem, and you will need to replace the outer tub assembly W10253866. Usually the springs do not cause this problem. Hope this helps.
