When replacing the water tube that exits out the top of the refrigerator, if I remove the wire cover, and the 3 screws that hold the ice maker mechanism, will I be able to replace the water tube?

Answer Hi Kevin. Turn the ice maker off, put the bail arm up and remove the complete ice maker. Make sure on reinstalling that all of the tube part # 67006317 is fully placed through the cabinet. I have heard of cured inner cabinet insulation off setting the tube. If so then make sure you scrape away just enough to get the tube smoothly through. After the ice maker is inserted, look and make sure the tube is fully inserted into the ice maker fill cup so it fills just the ice maker and not the inside of the cabinet. Thank you.
How do you take off the ice box wire cover?

Answer Hello Tabitha. Remove the screw and insert a flat blade screwdriver in the flat slot. Push downward on the screwdriver to release the clip and remove the cover. Hope this helps.
