Where can I find my model number?

I just spoke with James D. who kindly referred me to this section of your website. I discovered AppliancePartsPros after a VERY frustrating hour trying to find someone at Sears. I will not be going back to Sears for parts. Here is my situation. I have a Maytag dryer model # LDE7314ACE, replaced a broken blower wheel and am now reassembling the dryer. It has a thermostat cover (no. 42 on the diagrams) and for the life of me I can not find the location where I should screw it back in. I have looked for a place to fit it in, vacant screw holes, etc. Then I went online and worked through Sears and they wasted an hour. So, my question is does anyone in your team have advice or a link to a diagram of where to screw the heat shield back in? Thanks, Roger

Answer Hello Roger, The thermostat cover mounts to two holes in the main base. It can only go one way so once you find the holes you should have no problem.
