Answer Hello Bob. Order part numbers 8206442 and W10190018 for the damper and the template.

Answer Hello Lucy. You will need to uninstall the microwave and remove the screw securing the damper 8206442 to the top of the unit. Once removed, you will replace the old damper with the new and install the microwave back in place. 

Israel for Model Number KHMS2040WSS

Answer Hello Israel. You will need to order the damper 8206442 and run a vent from the unit to the outside. Make sure you rotate the fan motor inside the unit to blow the correct way.

Answer Taylor, The damper assembly 8206442 and cabinet adapter W10110597 are available through the APP Parts Diagrams,and orderring process. The remainder of the six inch exhaust vent and rectangular adapter and roof cap, are usually available and acquired from your local home improvent center or hardware store. Thanks and Good Luck

Answer Hi Alex. You will need to remove the microwave cabinet cover. Then you will rotate the fan output to the desired direction and use the damper (flap) in the air direction also. Make sure you follow the installation directions that was supplied along w/ the user and care guide. Thank You.
