I found the Cabinet and Installation diagram and am unable to figure out the part number to order. On the diagram it is number 6 but there is no associated part number. It is the plastic vent top screwed into the frame. Both screw mounts have finally broken and I want to replace it. I would rather not duct tape it to the cabinet!! :-) Thanks

I have a problem with my Kitchen Aid microwave range that is 7 years old. when it's windy it makes noises. I look it up on the internet and some people talk about adding a light weight to the damper door to keep it from blowing open. My exhaust vents outside. I was wondering if the damper door might have a adjustment or a spring that might have gone bad that keeps the door close. Do you have any ideas how to fix this problem?

Our microwave has a vent cover (not sure if this is the right term) on top of our unit which is installed under a cabinet. When installed the screws mounting this piece to the microwave broke. It stayed in place until I took it off to clean. I do not see this item on the list of parts for our model. It is made of plastic and has very thin "rails".
