Ive replaced the ADC on a MZD2768GEB refrigerator. A week later, the coils are still freezing over, and the refrigerator side is getting warm. The thermostat has continuity when it's cold, however there is no ohm reading when it is open. Should it show no resistance reading, or would this indicate a bad thermostat?

Hello, I have frost building up on my evaporator coils and I suspected the heating coil to be the culprit. So I ordered one from this site and installed it. I checked back for a week and there is still frost buildup. Not sure if I have anything else to replace. Someone told me the "freeon" might be low, could this be the case?

The refrigerator and freezer both got warm. Ice formed on the back of the freezer. I unplugged it for a day and then plugged it back in. It ran fine for a week and then the same problem occurred. I found the heating coil, but cannot fond the thermostat, so I don't know how to check which is working and which isn't.

Freezer was cold, refrig was warm. Fan seemed to run continious. Coils frozen, so I defrosted with fan. Plugged back in and tripped breaker. Isolated fan and it tripped. Isolated heater and fan run and did not trip. Bad heater or thermo or? Any other test I can do to verify which part is bad? Where is damper door located on this frig? Could that be problem also? Thanks in advance. Gene
