Answer Hello Joe. You can test the heater and the thermostat when the unit is cold. They should read closed for continuity. You can test these with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Joey. You can test the heater and thermostat. When they are cold, the thermostat and heater will read closed. You can test these with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. If both of these are good, then you will need to replace the timer. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello! This is an 8 hour timer. We do not have a listing for a 12 hour timer. This timer defrosts for 12-18 minutes. Hope this helps!

Answer George, If you take the kick plate off unit under the unit there will be the defrost timer. Turn the defrost until you hear a click. If the unit comes on then you need a defrost timer R0131577.

Answer Hello Kirk. The timer is located int he unit compartment in the bottom of the unit. Disconnect the power and remove the screws securing the timer. Then unplug the wires and remove the timer from the unit. Install the new timer in reverse order.
