Detergent Cup Dispenser with Gasket and Screws

Answer Cecil, To replace the detergent cup 9740171 you would remove the screw on the inside of the door holding in the inner liner. Once removed lift the liner and remove the screws holding the detergent cup in place. Once screws are removed then remove old cup and install new in reverse.

Answer Hi Sue. If it is an bi-metal is switch not releasing as the electrical is applied then the bi-metal needs replaced. Part # 9741678. If the dispenser door is not releasing as a mechanical issue, then you need the dispenser assy. part # 9740171. You need to remove the inner door screws and lift the inner door out. You will need to separate the 2- in order to install both parts together. Thank You.
