I have a 2 year old Whirlpool SxS that for the last few days has been banging loudly every 7 to 10 seconds as the diffuser slams shut. How do I determine if it's the diffuser or something else that needs to be replaced? A friend suggested that it was frozen or blocked by ice, so I emptied the fridge, cleaned everthing and after putting it together it continues to make the banging. What should I do now?
