Most Interesting

Washer will not clean. Fills and advances to wash cycle, but water does not spray. I suspect a problem with the impeller but am unable to access it. I can not remove the "Upper Discharge Housing Assembly. The three bolts holding down are removed. The housing moves up and down about 1/2 " and turns about 2 inches. The housing has a 1/8" X 6" inch gap around its perimeter, which may be the cause of not creating pressure. When I ran the machine on a wash cycle with just the upper housing in place and not bolted down, a plastic disk was expelled through that gap. Please help Rolf

My dishwasher fills but will not drain. When the drain cycle should be starting, I hear a brief hum from the motor, as if it is stuck. This will repeat unless I shut off the washer. I checked all drain hoses for blockage, and they were clear. I removed and inspected all parts down to the drain impeller for obvious signs of failure and found none. Could this be a faulty discharge housing assembly, or am I looking at a failing motor? Thanks for your assistance.

1st. A roaring sound occurs with about 30 minutes remaining on the wash cycle and 6 minutes remaining on the rinse cycle. 2nd. On the underside of the top of the discharge assembly there is a disc that appears to be held in place with 3 plastic pins, yet when the assembly is righted, the disc falls off of the pins. 3rd. The O ring seems to have expanded and bulges from it's groove, is this correct? (discharge assembly).

I have removed the 3 side screws and the middle screw as well. The housing assembly still does not want to come out. What else do I need to do to remove it? Thanks!
