Our handle broke. Is this the part to order and does it come with instructions? Thanks.
Answer Hello Stewart. Yes, this is the correct handle and latch assembly for a white dishwasher. You will need to disconnect the power coming to the unit. Then remove the screws holding the inner door panel in place. Lift the inner door panel and remove the wires going to the latch assembly. Install the wires on the new latch assembly and reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.

I can no longer use my dishwasher because the handle has loosened and the door will not close completely. Which part do I need to correct? The handle is not connected. It is dangling. Thank you.
Answer Sheila, We would reccomend you replace the latch assembly W10130694, it is a complete assembly and preassembled in the factory. Also check and make sure the door strike 99002644, mounted in the center of the door opening at the top of the tub, is not loose or broken. To access and replace the door latch, you will need to remove power to the dishwasher, then remove the "plastic" inner door liner. remove the latch, install the replacement assembly and reverse the procedure.
