The part in the photo has electrical connections. The water valve in my machine has NO ELECTRICAL connections. Is this the right part? No water is flowing through the valve. I have taken it apart and cleaned it. Water going in, and not going out.
Answer Hello Mark. You water valve has to have electrical connections or it will not work. Power energizes the solenoid on the valve and allows the water to flow through the valve. You need to look for some wires unplugged under the unit that attaches to the water valve.
My dishwasher hadn't been used in awhile and won't drain, it cycles but finishes with water un the bottom. I've checked the drain house and it isn't kinked or blocked. There is no obvious blockage inside the machine. What do you suggest?
Answer Hello Chad. You will need to test and see if there is power going to the drain pump when the unit is in the drain cycle. If so, and the pump is not draining the machine, you may have a bad drain pump. The model number you provided is not working properly. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
