I ordered a new dispenser but don't know how to install. Per your answer to a previous question, the dispenser W10224428 does not come with instructions. Can you help me with this? Thank you.
Answer Hello Yvonne. No, the dispenser assembly W10224428 does not include instructions. However, you will need to disconnect the power to the unit. Remove the screws securing the inner door panel then, raise the inner door panel and remove the screws securing the dispenser to the door panel. Remove the old dispenser and install the new dispenser in reverse order.
I purchased a dishwasher detergent model #W10224428 and it is identical to the old one except for the terminals on the solenoid. The old one has two terminals and the new one seems to have only one.
Answer Chris, Without a correct and complete model number it's a bit difficult to verify proper parts and wiring to or for a component. In general, If the new part is " it is identical to the old one except for the terminals on the solenoid. The old one has two terminals and the new one seems to have only one". Then the new part is defective. The solenoid needs to have two terminals in order to complete the circuit, and operate. You'll need to contact the APP Customer Service Team (1-877-477-7278) and make arrangements for a new replacement dispenser and return the defective part.
Rinse still full, not draining.
Answer Hello Gus. Check the setting inside the rinse aid dispenser and see if it is turned to the center. If not, and it is down on the lowest setting, it will not use much rinse aid. If it is set right, replace the dispenser W10224428 on the unit.
