Key pad Cover is cracked at the buttons. Seems like I have to buy the Dispenser Front Cover assembly? How do I get the old cover assembly off to put on the new? Part # is W10300204.
Answer Hello Jim! To remove the front dispenser panel you'll need to take a flat putty knife and gently insert at the bottom of the panel to release the clips. The cover will then lift up and pull off. Thanks.
Hi, my 2.5 year old side by side stopped dispensing water/Ice and the lamp does not work(replaced bulb) what could be the cause? It wouldn't dispense water/ice briefly a couple months ago and started working again almost immediately.
Answer Matt, The first place to investigate is at the freezer door hinge, you want to check and make sure there are no loose connections or wires in the dispenser harness connections. If all's OK there, you'll want to remove the dispenser facade and check the dispenser control board and wiring for the same loose connections etc. Here's some access information " 1. Unplug the refrigerator power cord. 2. Remove the overflow grille from the housing. 3. Unsnap front cover at the bottom of the housing. (use a flat blade screwdriver and pry out or twist the blade in the slots molded into the bottom edge of the facade to unsnap it from the housing. 4. Disconnect the front cover switch harness
connector and set the cover aside.5. Disconnect the power wire harness connector (BL/BK and W wires) 6. Disconnect the flapper door heater wire harness connector (if one is present). 7. Release the dispenser microswitch retainers and slide the switches off of their locator
pins. Carefully handle the switches so they do not come apart. 8. Disconnect the wires from the terminals of the lamp holder." Thanks and Good Luck
