Answer John, You would want to install a check valve at the bottom of the door for the dispenser dripping. The dispenser lever retainer would have nothing to do with the water dripping. To remove the panel, use a flat blade under the front lip of the bottom of dispenser face and pry outward. The panel will pop loose and you can remove.

Answer Hello Lisa, If the pin on the dispenser housing has broken then you would need to install dispenser kit part number 8201756.

Answer Hello Mel. There is no need to remove the cover. You need to make sure the filter is good on the unit. If so, try removing the water line from the valve and see if water comes out there when you press the dispenser. If not, but there is power to it, you will need to replace the water valve W10408179. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Answer Hello Hans. When you remove the front cover off the dispenser, you will unplug the cable going to it. Then you can access the screw for the retainer 2194719 and remove it. Make sure the unit is unplugged from the power before doing this repair. Hope this helps.
