Is there a part # for the seal on the diverter motor, or does the new part come with the seal.

This dishwasher is only 20 months old. No water comes into the unit. The inlet water valve was replaced, still no water. Next, the diverter was replaced, still no water. Codes flash forever, do I need a control board?

I can't get water to come out either the lower or upper spray arms. The pump works, the water fills correctly. When I start the cycle in the prewash cycle the water comes out of the turbospray nozzles on the back wall. I looked at the diverter motor and the connections seem to be fine and tight. I do not get any error codes the dishwasher runs the cycle but nothing is clean and the soap is caked in the dispenser.

Latest Questions

I am getting error codes 4-3 ("diverter motor stuck on") and 4-3 ("reserved"). My problem is dishes not getting clean. I think I had leakage months ago (warped floorboards in front), but nothing recently. Should I just replace the diverter motor (W10155344) or is there something else I should do first?

Error code 6-1 on Whirlpool dishwasherGU3600XTVQ3 even after replacing faulty diverter motor. My dishwasher was ending each attempt at a wash cycle after a few seconds and flashing error code 6-1. I opened the control panel and ohmed out each test specified in the repair manual. It passed all except the diverter motor circuit which tested as open (no conductivity). I followed the procedure for removing the sump to access the diverter motor. I removed and disassembled the gear housing and found water infiltration and corrosion of electrical connectors. I ordered a new motor and replaced the old one (after verifying good conductivity over both wire pairs between the new diverter motor and control panel. I did not use the wiring harnass that came with the part, as I did not see a place for it. Even after checking and all wiring connectors in the ensire unit, I am still having the original problem. I would appreciate any suggestion of what to check or try next!

It appears that my diverter motor is leaking. The seal comes out of the sump and looks ok. But the motor assembly has 2 blue wires, 2 orange wires. Contacts on orange look really good. Blue contacts look awful. One of two contact points is there but corroded, other is missing. I see the replacement part for w10056349 but the wiring harness only has one lead? How do I install this part? Cut and splice? Which wires and where? I will use plumbers silicone grease for the seal. Advice??
