Water remains on bottom of dishwater after cycle is complete. Is this normal. Everything else works perfect.
Answer Hello Chris,
You will need to make sure the drain line is elevated to countertop level before entering the sink drain. If this is proper, the drain should be checked for a grease build-up. The unit will need the pump opened and the filters and check ball areas cleared of any debris. If this doesn't correct the issue the pump assembly W10247394 may require replacement if proper voltage is supplied to the pump motor during the final drain.
Pulled out lint screen to clean (always after using) This time, a small paper note pad (size about 4x5 by 1/2" thick) slipped out of my hand and dropped down the chute while it was open and before I put the screen back. How can I retrieve this without a major repair?
Answer Hello Susan,
You will need to remove the two screws at the filter and remove the main back panel. There are three screws accessed from the rear that hold the lint chute in position. Remove these and you can pull the lint chute out, (no wires are involved on this side). The notepad will be inside here by the blower wheel. Re-assemble in the reverse order.
How do I replace the drive belt?
Answer Hello WM. If you lean the unit backwards, you will locate the belt under the unit. Once you locate the belt, you will roll the belt by hand off the large pulley. Then place the belt on the 2 smaller pulleys and roll it onto the large pulley. These are easy to replace.
