Set controls for wash, panel lights up, but no water starts to flow?
Answer Hello Charlie. Check and make sure the float is not stuck in the up position on the unit. If the float is good, and there is no water coming in, test for power to the water valve. If there is power there and no water coming in, you will need to replace the water valve. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
Follow up to my earlier question, do you suggest that I replace the impeller? If so, do I need any other parts or just that one item? Thanks.
Answer Hello Ed. You will need to inspect the impeller before ordering any parts. If it is bad, then you will need to replace it. If the shaft is bad, you will need to replace the motor assembly. Hope this helps.
