Laundry caught in bottom of door and operated. Leaking at bottom of front seal, seal damage, edge is now wrinkled looking. Pressure on door may slow but will not stop leak during wash and rinse. I believe it to be the door seal, however, hinges and warped door are also mentioned as possible causes. How do I check these items? watched repair video, very helpful. My machines are stacked with dryer on top, is it possible to replace the seal without dismounting the dryer above? I appreciate your assistance.

Hi , I have a customer with a maytag front load washer series 2000 the inner part of the boot seal was sliced a away all the way around and became completely separated in a large ring. , visually I see no reason it would do that, , the part number is w10381562 thanks, its a fairly new machine.

The machine works fine until it gets to the spin cycle. It's making noise but its not spinning. What do you think is causing the problem?

Washing machine leaks water out of the bottom of the door. It only does this on delicate or quick wash and not every time. It's at a rental so Im just going by renter complaints. I sat in front of it for several cycles while washing a sleeping bag and then a comforter with no leak. (I know quick wash is only for a few items but wanted to push it a little to see if I could get it to leak) I did catch it leaking once on a different occation and confirmed it was the door, if I pushed on the door it seemed to slow the leak. Almost seemed like the door wasn't latched all the way? Im thinking about replacing the boot but don't want to waste my time and money if its something else. Have you gotten this complaint before? Any suggestions?
