Dryer inside-light does not turn off and dryer won't turn on. What could be the problem?

Answer Hello Cheri. This may be caused by a failed door switch 3406107. This part can be easily tested using a multi meter TJMA-DM1. I will include a link to an article detailing how to test various parts with a meter in this message. I hope this info helps!

Answer Hello Jerry. It sounds like the door switch has gone bad. The door switch is a saftey feature that shuts the dryer off when the door is open. I would suggest replacing it. The door switch assembly is part number 3406107. Hope this helps.
