Answer Reuben, The door seal is wrapped around the back of the door liner. You would pull out of the door liner and the new one has a hard clip on the back of it that you would push down behind the door liner and the way it is designed it will clip into place. This is the same process as the freezer door.

Answer Hello Bill. You will need to use a flat blade putty or butter knife to install the gasket 2177311 into the door frame. Start at the corners and work your way around the door, pressing the plastic flange in between the liner and the frame of the door. Hope this helps.
