Answer Hello Stove. The handle trim pieces slide off and unsnap off the rails. Based on the model number you provided, they should slide off. If not, you will need to unsnap them. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Stove. You will need to slide off the top and bottom handle trim pieces. Then remove the screws securing the handle to the refrigerator. Reinstall with the new handle 2186649W in reverse order. Hope this helps.
