Well, so far I've replaced the fan motor and the door gaskets. New problem (yes I know the fridge is about 30 years old, but my mother in law likes it and it works) Having replaced the door gaskets we found the left side of the French doors were not closing correctly. The gasket does not seem to be the problem. The right one closes fine. The left one seems too "loose" almost as if a spring isn't catching. The right door seems to catch at a certain point and something seems to bring the door closed- left door lacks any kind of tension on it. I am assuming it may be a door hinge? Thoughts and suggestions welcome on this one too. (PS The help on the other stuff was great!)

We have a whirlpool refigerator model ET20DK. The door fell off and I found a part that goes into the door from the bottom. How is this held in place? Does it just snap back into the bootom of the door? I didn't see any screws or anyother part laying around.
