My Repair & Advice
I replaced the hinges, which involved removing the door by opening it all the way, inserting a small allen wrench into the locking pin hole on each of the two hinges, partially closing the door and pulling it toward me. I then laid the door stainless steel face up on a table, removed the 8 screws from the edge and pulled the bottom of the face up and toward me. The hinges lie loose in their compartments, so it's easy to pluck them out and drop the new ones in. To retrieve my allen wrenches from the old hinges, I used a large pliers to pull back the hinge arm.
