My Dishwasher is also leaking underneath, but on left hand side corner. I can see water coming under the inner door rounded gasket looking thing that tucks into the front edge. Any idea? I saw the one about the water coming up the vent holes, this does not do that. My lower arm is clean as a whistle, it does have some play in it. The post that it sits on, does the water force that up when it spins? It seems like it wants to come up a little. It is tight
Answer Rob, There are a few more things to check. Make sure the dishwasher is level in both directions. Start the dishwasher and let it run a few minute then open the door and remove the lower rack, make sure the water level isn't over the heater element, if the heater is partially submerged or slightly lower, then you have the proper water level. The lower wash arm has to have some up and down play in it in order to rotate, but it shouldn't be more than 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch. Then remove the spray arm and check the bearing underneath to see if it has cracked or worn out. Then check the seam in the metal portion of the lower spray arm, make sure it hasn't split or cracked and directing the water at the bottom of the door.
My dishwasher leaks from the bottom center of the door. It looks like the water is forced up into the vent holes and then comes out on to the floor. What causes this? Mark
Answer Hello Mark,
This is caused by stopped up holes in one of the spray arms, 8268332, 8561746, or one or more of the spray arms are separating in the center where it was assembled by the factory. Either of these will cause a "wave" in the water which will cause the water to slosh over the dishwasher tub. There is no watertight seal across the bottom of the door since this is used as an air inlet for the dry cycle. I have also seen a seal in the water supply tube 8559849 where the top rack adjusts from upper to lower fail and cause the same issue.
My dishwasher will not start a wash cycle. the clean lite is blinking. I can push the cancel button, the washer drains any water in dishwasher. Im wondering if its the control panel.
Answer Hello Linda. Press Heated dry, Normal, Heated dry, Normal, Heated dry, and Normal and the unit should start. Let it finish the cycle. Then get water hot each time before starting the unit at your sink.
